1. General
At GoDutch, quality and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. We do everything we can to deliver your order in perfect condition. However, because we sell food products, specific rules apply to returns and refunds.
2. No returns on opened products
For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products. Therefore, please check your order immediately upon receipt.
3. Damaged or incorrectly delivered products
If your order arrived damaged or you received the wrong product, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at support@godutch.ae.
Include clear photos of the product and packaging. We will assess the situation and offer a replacement or refund.
4. Refunds
A refund will only be issued after we have received and inspected the returned product. This verification typically takes 2–4 business days, after which the refund will be processed within 1–2 business days. Please note that the refund may not be visible until your next bank statement cycle.
The refund will be processed using the same payment method used to place the order.
All non-perishable products are eligible for a refund if they are damaged or defective upon receipt, or if a defect is discovered within seven days of delivery. Returns will not be accepted after this period.
5. Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before they have been processed or shipped. Once an order is in transit, it cannot be cancelled or changed.
In exceptional circumstances beyond your control ('force majeure'), GoDutch may consider deviating from this policy. In that case, please contact us at support@godutch.ae and describe the situation.
6. Temperature-sensitive products
For products delivered chilled or frozen, we cannot offer refunds unless there is damage or deterioration upon arrival. We recommend that you always accept deliveries in person.
7. Additional Terms
Refunds for products purchased during a promotion or bundle offer will be based on the paid (promotional) price. For bundle offers, all products in the bundle must be returned.
